## the challenge
Corn farmers and agronomists make expensive, time-sensitive fungicide decisions across hundreds of fields. The data — localized weather, leaf wetness, soil characteristics, hybrid disease tolerance — is genuinely complex. A wall of numbers is useless. The tool had to compress it into a clear, defensible recommendation with the reasoning visible.
